Sr. Analytics Developer Georgia

Short Description:

 

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology, is looking for a skilled Sr. Analytics Developer to join their team on a temporary contractor basis. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and involves designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting complex data extract, transformation, and load (ETL) programs for an Enterprise Data Warehouse.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support complex ETL programs for an Enterprise Data Warehouse.

- Expertise in BI Tools such as Power BI and BigQuery.

- Strong technical knowledge of Informatica (IDMC) for complex mappings, sessions, and workflows.

- Proficiency in Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, indexing, and query tuning for relational databases.

- Contribute to the design and implementation of metadata, ETL, and reporting components.

- Conduct data and root cause analysis, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.

- Produce client deliverables including detailed design documentation, configuration documentation, unit test plans, and training curriculum.

 

Qualifications:

 

Required:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 6-7 years of experience with Power BI, Informatica (IDMC), and BigQuery.

- Experience in designing and developing complex Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows.

- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 19c.

- Effective communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work in a team environment.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

 

Preferred:

 

- Working knowledge of Informatica Power Exchange/Power Center and IDMC.

- Experience with OBIEE tools version 12.X, Tableau, and relational, multidimensional, and OLAP techniques.

- Soft skills: Strong written and oral communication skills in English, ability to work with businesses and communicate technical solutions.

 

Skill Matrix:

 

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 6 years of experience with Power BI, Informatica, BigQuery, etc.

- 7 years of experience with OBIEE tools version 12.X.

- Knowledge of Informatica Power Exchange/Power Center and IDMC.

- Experience with relational, multidimensional, and OLAP techniques and technology.

- Experience as a Senior Analytics Developer.

- Experience with Oracle RDBMS 19c (desired).
