Senior Surgical Technician  — Surgery Unit — Providence St. Mary Medical Center Walla Walla, WA

Advanced Surgical Technologists are individuals who perform tasks in the surgical setting under the delegation of a licensed health practitioner.  The primary duties are outlined in WAC 346-939-030. The Advanced Surgical technologist is responsible for maintaining and editing their specific designated specialty preference cards, coordinating supplies and equipment for their designated specialty, and creating product request forms.

Shift details: This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours per week), day shift position. (Variable, rotating call weekdays and weekends, holiday call)

Required Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training - Graduate from an accredited program or, comparable training.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire. 
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 
• 3 years - Working as a Surgical Technologist

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
