We believe that our success depends on building a world class team.</p><p></p><p>We are currently looking for a Senior Underwriting Specialist to support the Nordic Commercial Property team covering all Nordic countries.  The position is based in Stockholm and primarily focuses on underwriting of large and complex multinational clients.</p><p></p><p>This role will contribute to the profitable growth of the Nordic cluster by driving the business plans across countries by developing and maintaining relationships with existing brokers and clients and executing on long term strategies and goals. The Nordic Property team is part of a global property family which results in international relations, connectivity and opportunities.</p><p>Start date for this role is flexible but preferably as soon as possible.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Underwriting and handling of large multinational and complex accounts</li><li>Review, analysis and development of terms and conditions, account and portfolio performance.</li><li>The role is market and client facing and the person is expected to develop strong, long term relationships with external stakeholders to profitably grow a book of business.</li><li>Work within agreed decision-making standards, limitations, authorities and underwriting guidelines.</li><li>Working collaboratively in a team environment assisting underwriters and assistant underwriters, including development and training of junior staff</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Position requirements</b></p><p>AIG strives to be a highly client focused organization, something that should be reflected in your social skills, personal structure and high quality in every output of work performed.
