 Verdantas is seeking Non-technical Environmental Field Staff. These positions will be located in Tampa, Florida and will include regular overnight travel throughout Florida. These positions are considered Part-Time Temporary and are non-benefited.
 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform installation/removal of erosion and sediment control systems such as silt fence and floating turbidity curtains. 
• Backpack spraying herbicides to control nuisance vegetation in preservation areas.
• Additional tasks may include wildlife and wetland surveys. 
• Operate and maintain company vehicles, trailers, off road utility vehicles, walk behind trencher, and basic hand tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Must be capable of working in harsh outdoor conditions 
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
