Job Details:

SUMMARY: The Transportation Department Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the local transportation department. Key responsibilities include coordinating departmental efforts to achieve performance goals, supervising and training management support team members responsible for document review, and generating and managing daily exception reports to identify and expedite shipping orders. The supervisor will collaborate with shipping locations to expedite documentation, advise on new requirements, and resolve issues as needed. Additionally, the role involves reviewing, analyzing, and approving weekly and monthly invoice payments for assigned vendors, interviewing, training, and supervising management support team members who handle document preparation and review, and performing other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience; international operational experience is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Special Skills: Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Supervisory: Responsible for supervising and training multiple team members.
• Travel: 1-4 trips per year.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
