Senior Manager of Learning & Development

Massillon, Ohio - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Learning and Development to lead our L&D initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing effective learning programs that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a self-starter with excellent leadership skills and a passion for developing talent.

Your Seat at the Table: 

- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs, including leadership development, functional skills training, and professional development.
- Manage a team of two L&D professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance.
- Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven decisions to enhance learning outcomes.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of learning content, ensuring it is up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating new ideas and technologies as appropriate.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.

- Travel required 25-50% to facilitate training; strong facilitation skills required

What you Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing effective training programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant technologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Certification in L&D, such as CPLP or similar, is a plus.
