Job Description
The Senior Director, Professional Services is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the delivery of professional services, and technical solutions to clients. This position involves strategic planning, team management, client relationship management, and achieving financial and operational goals. A Senior Director, Professional Services plays a critical role in ensuring the success and growth of a company's professional services division. They are responsible for aligning the department's activities with the company's strategic objectives, delivering high-quality services to clients, and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Implementation team, specifically, Tekion’s product ARC division that aligns with the overall company goals.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of services and solutions.
Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train high-performing teams of individual contributors, project managers, and technical experts.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the department and cross functionally.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and solutions to their business challenges.
Project Delivery:
- Oversee the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Monitor project performance and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Financial Management:
- Work with the SVP, Professional Services to develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement financial controls and reporting mechanisms to track and optimize revenue and expenses.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for service delivery.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Use market insights to identify new opportunities and refine service offerings.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, contracts, and agreements.
- Mitigate risks associated with project delivery and client relationships.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
