Job Summary:
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing and negotiating our supply chain to support the film product line. This position is the main point of contact for souring and supplier development for all film products: domestically sourced, international, and conduct make vs. buy analysis.
Job Duties:
- Work with the Procurement Manager and senior business leaders to develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative and cost-effective
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs
- Work with CLE Plant Material Specialist to source and procure materials, goods, and services required to fill customer’s demand
- Evaluate Film suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery; develop supplier score card for each primary and secondary supplier, and track performance with feedback to supplier and to Adherex business owners
- Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues promptly
- Assist the Inventory Analysis and Materials Specialist on needs of fabrication/converting process, including printing segment, as well as help optimize stock levels
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions
- Serve as backup for Purchasing of tapes as needed
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum Associate’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of procurement or related experience strongly preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all business processes including manufacturing, finance, and sales
- Demonstrated relentless curiosity
- Ability to develop passion about our business, our customer’s businesses, and our industry
- Demonstrate competency with various telecom provisioning formats & technologies (POTS, SIP & Circuits)
- Highly organized with multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Ability to communicate when operational breakdowns occur
- Ability to handle high stress in a professional manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality experience
- Microsoft Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time, often for several hours at a desk or workstation.
- Frequent use of hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Ability to handle documents, use office tools like staplers or hole punchers, and perform data entry tasks.
- Occasional reaching above or below shoulder height to access files, documents, or office supplies.
- Occasional walking within the office to attend meetings, retrieve documents, or collaborate with colleagues.
- Light lifting, usually up to 10-20 pounds, which may include carrying files, small office equipment, or supplies.
- Ability to view computer screens for extended periods.
