Federal Work Study - Student Assistant (SFA Scholarships)

Job Description:

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is currently seeking a Student Assistant to join its Scholarships team. In this role, you will support Financial Aid Managers with a range of tasks, including data entry using Microsoft Excel and case monitoring in Salesforce, while gaining valuable experience in financial aid processing.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Enter data provided by Scholarship Managers related to scholarship administration.
• Utilize Salesforce to monitor and update cases related to institutional scholarships.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to scholarship processing as assigned.
• Scan incoming documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This position will begin in Spring 2025 and will continue through subsequent semesters; Summer availability is preferred.

Expected Salary:

$13/hour

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a current UF student
• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of iOS operating system
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Available through Summer 2025 preferred
• Available to work 15-20 hours a week preferred
