Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC seeks a Business Intelligence Developer (multiple positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI, 48170. Responsible for the application development, maintenance, support, defect fixing, and enhancements from a technical perspective. Act as the go-to person for all technical delivery tied to application/technical lead support for Data Integration and Analytical Services related work. Provide high-level effort estimate for changes. Communicate the “need” for each requirement to the Product Owner, Architect, Project Manager, and development team. Ensure impact analysis is thorough for all user stories. Collaborate with Software Architect on all architectural decisions to ensure designs and implementations conform. Develop and Document HL Design using predetermined Artifact templates and tools. Identify all technical risks in advance of development start and communicate them to the Project Manager. Propose options/plans for mitigation and prevention. Ensure Bosch Security Engineering Process (SEP V3) is implemented throughout the lifecycle of the project including OWASP, Veracode Scans, Penetration Testing, and all other compliance / security activities. Ensure Bosch Legal Compliance rules are followed. Ensure the solution/component design is compatible with over all ecosystem, this includes but is not limited to the identification of technical dependencies. Ensure Low Level design confirms the HL design with documented mapping. Own the code written by developers through documented code reviews, with merging to respective code branch. Ensure code conforms to low level design and follows coding standards. Ensure there is traceability throughout development process (Requirements, design, code, unit testing, release). Ensure team members are not blocked and escalate early if blocker cannot be resolved. Ensure 90% code coverage through automated unit test cases and document technical debt if this threshold cannot be met. Ensure non-functional requirements (e.g., performance) are validated on INT. Ensure guidelines/instructions in setting up the pipelines are met in collaboration with Azure DevOps team. Ensure code completion timelines are met. As part of Bug Fix/Support; Ensure all P1/P2 issues are efficiently troubleshot and resolved in a timely manner to meet the organization’s contractual commitments. Provide Product Support SOP Review every 6 months and align within the IT department. Serve as Mentor development team to deliver high quality software on time. Responsible for design, test automation, and quality. Take ownership of User Stories, create child tasks, and provide effort estimates. Review unit tests developed with developer/owner to ensure quality and coverage meets defined targets. Support Project Managers/Scrum Master to ensure the processes are followed completely and on a timely basis throughout the SDLC. Own the team’s software development lifecycle to optimize it, tackle inefficiency and reduce waste. Communication to the Project Manager on status, risks, and issues. Team player with positive attitude. Proactively collaborate with peers to resolve customer issues. Understand the current technology roadmap for platform and update it according to business vision. Collaborate with the assigned Architect. Provide input on the technical competency development plan for the team. Conduct workshop on future technology with team. Coach and Mentor team members. Create guidelines for technical e.g., code review, code commits. Identify areas of improvement and ensure up-to-date expertise in the latest technologies. Remote Work May Be Permitted. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Data Science plus 5 years of professional work experience in star schema/dimensional modeling and data warehouse methodology. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Developing, Designing and Implementing Data Integration, Analytic Services, Data Analytics, Reporting and Data Warehousing design for platforms and backend ERP Systems using Business Objects Data Services (BODS), Business Objects Web Intelligence, or Business Objects Universe Designer; (2) Domain knowledge of applications and various SAP modules and the integration points between these applications and the backend ERP systems; (3) Developing, Designing and Implementing staging tables and data repositories using Oracle PL/SQL 9I, MS/SQL 2012, Business Objects CMS and Business Objects Publisher; (4) Creating and publishing customer reports (Business Intelligence) and analytics using SAP Business Warehouse (BW); (5) Exchanging data between internal systems to target ERP modules using AIX, Unix, SFTP and Batch Scripts; and (6) Developing, Des
