About the job

The YouTube Business Central Planning and Operations team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning, business operations, incentives design and operations, product partnerships strategy, and go-to-market for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

As the leader of the Strategic Planning team for YouTube’s business organization, you are responsible for helping the team identify and invest in strategic opportunities to enable delivery and execution across top company priorities. Based on a clear investment thesis and sound understanding of business drivers, capacity models, and impact measurement, you will orchestrate the team’s Annual Planning process to optimize our headcount footprint and budget envelope (and consider how to prioritize resourcing requirements dynamically throughout the year). You will also drive the organization's Objectives and Key Results (OKR) program, ensuring transparency and accountability across our top priorities while leading process transformation and automation efforts to streamline execution for the teams.

Your leadership and management skills, broad understanding of the team’s work, and your ability to quickly analyze a challenge with structured thinking and a sharp sense for process will help propel strategic priorities across the team. You are comfortable with ambiguity and you effortlessly adapt your approach to reconcile with changing priorities, directions, and guidance. You are comfortable working cross-functionally in a results-driven environment, have a proven track record of managing competing priorities, and want to be part of an innovative global team forging new ground in the world of technology and entertainment.

At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun — and we do it all together.
