Location: United States (Remote)

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, You Will:

• Design and implement serverless codebases for processing API data.
• Design and implement a database storage service for application data.
• Engage in collaborative development work
• Be responsible for designing, planning, and managing API implementations via AWS API Gateway.
• Create Python-based serverless functions to ingest and process data from 3rd party systems.
• Create Python-based serverless functions to provide required data to a React-based SPA.
• Coordinate with platform engineers to create a continuous integration and deployment methodology for serverless technologies

To Be Successful, You Need:

• BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years’ experience working with cloud technology including AWS
• At least three years of experience with Python, preferably in an AWS Lambda environment.
• Experience in AWS microservices Lambda (serverless) and AWS Step Functions.
• Experience in developing REST services.
• Knowledge of AWS development and engineering best practices.
• Experience in creating API implementations using AWS API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience developing cloud-based microservices architectures and associated APIs
• Requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Preferred

• Previous experience working in a DevOps environment and deploying code via CI/CD pipelines
• AWS Developer certifications.
• Experience in Solutions design and engineering in a centralized/federated environment
• Experience working with Data federation methods and processes
• Experience working with aggressive timelines in Agile environments
• Ability to transfer knowledge on new designs, features, and applications
