Schedule: Full-Time | Nights | No Weekends
Hourly Pay Range: $45.00 – $58.00 (based on experience)

About the Role

A leading hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled and confident RN Manager to lead a high-volume Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. This is a key leadership role for a clinically strong nurse who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about women’s health.

With over 800 deliveries each month, this unit is among the busiest in Texas. You will play a critical role in guiding nursing staff, coordinating care, driving quality outcomes, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a 15–20 bed Labor and Delivery unit

• Support, coach, and lead nursing staff to promote engagement and accountability

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care

• Lead quality initiatives focused on maternal and neonatal outcomes

• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and unit performance metrics

• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for bedside nurses

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (required)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)

• 3–5 years of recent acute care Labor and Delivery leadership experience (required)

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring – Required within 6 months of hire

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required within 6 months of hire

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
