Software Engineer – Frontend, Data Visualization

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for writing code, sharing knowledge, and delegating work. You will be expected to mentor junior engineers and be a multiplier. You must be able to communicate effectively with both fellow engineers and product owners. You will be expected to provide architectural and code review feedback. You will also be expected to document and promote best practices. We are looking for developers that have experience building scalable systems that are used by thousands of users. You will use your experience shipping production code to help other developers make informed and forward looking decisions.
At JupiterOne we empower developers to also be QA engineers and DevOps engineers. This means that developers write application code, write automated tests, and own the infrastructure code. Key Qualifications

• Experience using React (side projects and learning exercises accepted!)
• Exposure to modern web frameworks and libraries (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Able to translate ideas from designers and user experience experts into practical code
• Able to write concise and meaningful tests (developers are also QA engineers!)
• Able to write testable and localizable React components
• Experience building production-quality apps with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js
• Exposure to multiple programming languages during professional career
• Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and accurately

Desired Qualifications

• 2+ years working on production applications
• Familiar with build tooling such as Webpack, Rollup, Vite, etc.
• Exposure to modern web frameworks and libraries (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)

JupiterOne's competitive compensation packages for salaried roles include: base salary, equity, variable/incentive pay, perks, and benefits. Cash compensation is determined by a variety of factors, to include job family, function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against current market data. 
The target base salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000
Final compensation packages are determined by multiple factors such as individual experience, education, qualifications, certifications, performance level, specialized expertise, and geographic location, and may vary from the target salary range listed above.
