The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for creating next generation business processes and accelerating the adoption of technology across the company. As the Senior Manager of Digital Transformation for Supply Chain and Operations, you will have a transformative impact on global operations (Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, and Costing), enabling the business to use the latest processes and leverage digital tools to thrive in a connected world. This role involves designing processes, creating a roadmap, and helping implement core processes in inventory management, supply chain planning, manufacturing, supplier management, etc. You will integrate ERP, PLM, and MES, as well as other capabilities, to create a digital core, transforming Lam Research into a market-leading semiconductor company poised for future growth. The digital core capability plays a pivotal role in the digital transformation journey, acting as a bridge between product development, operations, and business systems, enabling seamless data flow and real-time decision-making.
What You’ll Do
• Transform the way Lam uses digital tools and systems to better enable our operations, providing employees with better tools and data for maximum efficiency.
• Connect design data (PLM) to operations through ERP to facilitate transactions and implement a global MES to build and ship the products.
• Lead the design, build, and validation phases of our digital core tools to create a template that can be replicated across our global operations to support successful future implementation. Transform the way Lam uses digital tools to support operations through MBOM, BOP, BOE, connect quality data, predictive maintenance, big data, analytics, and AI to empower our employees with better tools and data for maximum efficiency, support compliance, and create a backbone of digital transformation to support growth.
• Integrate MES processes with other enterprise processes in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning system in SAP) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) to create a digital thread facilitating timely informed decisions.
• Lead the design and implementation of out-of-the-box solutions to support scalable solution deployment, implementing leading practices to drive operations, planning, and execution as well as global logistics. Collaborate with cross functional teams in the deployment of solutions, identifying interim solutions for the rollout of the roadmap to support the coexistence of old and new technology.
• Work with cross-functional teams, consultants, and technology leaders to bring leading practices to improve efficiency, address quality issues, and support the scalability of operations. Be a cultural change agent in the company to drive transformation and continuous improvement and reimagine processes to streamline and drive efficiencies.
• Must be a T-shaped leader with broad experience designing processes and implementing them using the technical leadership team while driving continuous improvement.
• Strong soft skills to manage change in a very successful company getting geared for the future. The ability to respect the past while painting the vision for the future with an action plan to get there is key to the success of the role.
• Must have knowledge of capabilities in platforms like SAP, Kinaxis, and One Network to support planning, make, Order management and execution and logistics.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required.
