Vehicle Service Technician

As a Vehicle Service Technician at Northwest Ambulance, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of emergency vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our ambulances are in optimal working condition, ready to respond to emergencies and transport patients safely. Your attention to detail and expertise in vehicle maintenance will contribute to the overall effectiveness and reliability of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
• Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology

Requirements

• Proven experience as a vehicle service technician or mechanic
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE certification is a plus

Wages:

Our wage range is $22-$24 per hour. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday - Friday.
