Job Purpose and Impact
The Global Capital Project Delivery Improvement Lead will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on the capital excellence areas for industrial projects leading continuous improvements by developing new or improving existing content, partnering collaboratively with global and regional project and functional teams.
Key Accountabilities

Provide capital excellence expertise to capital excellence leads and capital execution leads and other domain experts on how to effectively integrate and apply aspects of capital excellence into build projects.

Oversee build project performance goals and metrics, identify gaps and solutions and lead the implementation of performance improvements.

Establish strategies to provide strategic vision to the project team utilizing extensive knowledge of build project management practices and ensures best practices are incorporated into project delivery to champion safety, meet regulatory requirements and deliver build projects with excellence.

Identify and bridge gaps as well as identify process improvement opportunities and solutions.

Partner collaboratively with cross functional regional leaders to leverage resources, knowledge and strategies that increase value throughout the portfolio of capital projects.

Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
-
Experience with capital planning portfolio management
-
Engineering and technology discipline and domain knowledge
-
Experience with program management and tracking
-
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
-
Capital Project Engineering/build project experience over 50MM
-
Experience with Stage Gate Process
-
Experience with Front End Loading
-
Experience with different Project Contracting Strategies
-
Project experience in the Chemical, Biofuels, Bio-Products, Specialty Chemicals, Oil & Gas and/or Food Processing sectors
-
Experience with industrial projects both as owner and/or as an engineering service provider
-
PMP certification
