The Opportunity

We’re in search of a Senior Data Science Engineer who is passionate about detail, proficient in using analytics to solve business problems, and skilled at applying AI and automation to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. We’ll need you to build new reporting capabilities to meet business demand, and at the same time provide quality and velocity. We expect you to work with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and analyze data to support decision making. You will also engage with collaborators to ensure smooth validation and deployment of new features. What you'll Do

  • Lead, build, develop and deploy business reporting and analytic solutions for Adobe's corporate teams.
  • Regularly interact with collaborators on project portfolio, technology roadmap, and planning on future business objectives.
  • Bridge the gap between key business objectives and technical capabilities by providing fully coordinated solutions in partnership with the business
  • Prior understanding of SAP Quote to Contract and Order to Billing processes; Experience with other corporate business operations and analytics
  • Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets.
  • Perform regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis to better understand revenue, bookings, billings, compliance, spend, and employee related insights
  • Partner with engineering teams to implement business solutions and validate the product against requirements.
  • Implement process improvements and automations to optimize delivery, operational and support processes
  • Collaborate and partner on a day-to-day basis with business users, engineers, and managers to build, develop, deploy, operate and support new business solutions
  • Craft sophisticated conceptual builds (including application interfaces and interactions) and dashboards.
  • Plan and establish post-delivery activities including ongoing application support.

What you need to succeed 

• BA/BS and 10 years of work experience in a data science / analytics role

• Experience supporting analytics in Revenue, Finance, and Employee data domains.

• Hands-on experience with Data Analytics Platforms (Databricks, SAP HANA) and business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau etc.)

• Ability to understand business requirements, strategy, goals and processes, and translate them into functional/system specifications.

• Ability to work independently, to mentor new and junior members of the team, and participate effectively in global teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,900 -- $281,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $194,000 - $281,000

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
