Katella Animal Clinic, located in Anaheim, CA is a busy general practice looking to add another full-time staff member to their team! We are looking for an experienced veterinary assistant to join our fun-loving staff. We have been in business for more than 20 years and have a long history in the community. We also work with a bunch of rescue groups and like to give back! The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working in a veterinary setting
• Support veterinarians & technicians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Perform general laboratory testing including complete blood count, chemistry, urine analysis, and ear cytology
• Communicate with client’s preventative health and medical questions
• Perform all aspects of medical nursing for dogs and cats
• Obtain detailed medical history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use appropriate restraint techniques for cats and dogs
• Follow all required protocols
• CSR/reception duties as assigned
