About You

You will serve as a CCaaS/CPaaS Subject Matter Expert and will be a key member of the customer facing sales team. You will be responsible for providing advanced pre/post-sales support for the channel sales team by designing, proposing and closing both existing and new opportunities and ensuring a successful customer experience. Additionally this role will provide support and give advice to AppDirect's partners and recommend the best solutions to clients.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact:

• Review customer business processes to determine optimization opportunities through the integration of CCaaS/CPaaS;

• Actively participate as a SME for CCaaS/CPaaS technologies, providing consultative support to other Solution Engineers in their area of specialization;

• Consult with client and sales team to develop technical strategy throughout the design, proposal and presentation lifecycle;

• Drive revenue with an eye towards increase in cloud and managed service sales;

• Perform advanced technical presentations for customers and prospects remotely and in person;

• Develop advanced process optimizations through CCaaS/CPaaS in response to customer needs and requirements;

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/MIS/Computer Science/Telecom or equivalent work experience;

• 5+ years of experience with CCaas/CPaaS and working on the pre-sales engineer side with customers;

• Ability to compare leading CCaaS/CPaaS providers;

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written and presentation);

• Flexibility to handle varying workload and multiple projects while still meeting tight deadlines;

• Working knowledge of networking hardware, communications, and cloud solutions.
