Overview:
We are looking for a ServiceNow Engineer within the Global Technology Organisation. Primary responsibility for the development, set up, onboarding and support of the Service Now DevOps Module plugin within ServiceNow that connects to out in-house Jira, Gitlab, Jenkins and SonarQube.
Secondary responsibility would be to work alongside the ServiceNow Engineering team and help with further enhancements.
The role will help bridge ServiceNow and DevOps Module Engineering team to ensure both teams are in sync.
Role / Principal Accountabilities:
DevOps Module
- Build out of new functionality
- Keep the module up to date and aligned to ServiceNow platform upgrades
- Maintenance of issues backlog and support queries
- Onboarding of new teams
- Further automation of workflows and improvement opportunities
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong background hands-on ServiceNow Development (3+ years)
- Strong knowledge of basic ServiceNow components (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Polices/Actions etc…), Flow Designers, Workflows and Widgets.
- Three plus years of ServiceNow experience
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on DevOps Module experience
- A good understanding and exposure interacting with
- Jira
- Gitlab
- Jenkins
- SonarQube
- Development experience with Service Portals
- Web-development experience using JavaScript/React
