Sr React Native Engineer – Healthcare

 

Project Description

We will be working on rewriting existing native iOS and Android mobile applications in React Native to enable cross platform application development and support.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing existing native iOS and Android applications/features and translating them to a new React Native mobile application
• Developing new user-facing mobile features using React Native
• Maintaining existing native iOS and Android mobile applications until new React Native application rewrite is completed
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality testable code components
• Integrating with existing RESTful APIs, identity/authentication, and asset services
• Ensure application performance, maintaining high standards of code quality, and thoughtful application design participating in code reviews
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best patterns and practices
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including Scrum meetings, design, implementation, and deployment
• Collaborate across time zones via Slack, documents, email, and video conferencing

 

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of experience building modern React Native mobile applications
• Experience: 10+ years of experience as a software engineer preferred with experience building modern web and/or mobile applications working in the full stack
• Nice to have a proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with a thorough understanding of React.js or Vue.js and their core principles
• Nice to have experience implementing RESTful APIs using .Net/C# with experience with .Net Core, .Net 5 or 6 a bonus!
• Nice to have experience with SQL and relational database design with MS SQL Server experience a bonus!
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Familiarity with modern front-end and backend build pipelines and tools with experience with MS AppCenter a bonus!
• Experience using Git version control
