Job Duties
To assist/support the Agriculture Manager II and several agricultural managers in various aspects of agriculture management programs by performing accurate, organized secretarial duties and record management.
This is a wage position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12 -month period of May 1 – April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge & skilled application of modern office management/secretarial practices & techniques. Possess computer application and technology skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain records, track inventories, input data and generate reports. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team, prioritize tasks, and possess good organizational skills. Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to relate well with the general public and staff.
Additional Considerations
Knowledge of state procurement practices. Knowledge of inmate supervision practices.
