The Headlines:   

In the role of IT Maintenance Planning Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Information Technology team.  You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive maintenance plans for our IT systems, hardware, and software. You will collaborate will cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to minimize downtime, enhance system performance, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our IT assets.

 

This position reports to Sr. Mgr Test & Release Management and works closely with various product teams including Commercial, Supply Chain, and Enabling as well as project managers within the PMO team.

 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans for all IT systems, hardware, and software to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities with project teams and brewery operations, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and user experience
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and proactively address the through scheduled maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
  • Coordinate with IT technical architecture teams to build, utilize, and maintain environments needed for testing of IT systems, hardware, and software prior to full deployment into production
  • Implement monitoring tools to track the performance of IT systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk log of all maintenance activity by work type. Recognize the priority of the maintenance backlog and re-schedule when appropriate seeking direction from IT leadership.
  • Manages resources effectively (tools & equipment) to execute maintenance plans efficiently
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for emergency maintenance situations, ensuring rapid response and resolution
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in IT maintenance

 

The Other Qualifications: 

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of IT service operations, solution delivery, or maintenance planning 
  • You have at least 7+ years experience in IT service management or solution delivery with 3+ years experience relevant to maintenance planning and working with 3rd party service providers
  • You have 2-3 years of program and/or project management experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience with software delivery and hardware management
  • You have strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems
  • You have experience managing directly or indirectly a team of engineers and architects engaged in maintaining IT products, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results
  • You have certifications such as ITIL
