We are looking to recruit a Finance Support Assistant to work within our Technical Accounting Team.  The position comes with great opportunities for future progression.

About the role:


As a Finance Support Assistant, you will be an important member of the Technical Accounting Team. You will support the finance function in providing financial information to both internal and external customers, including the maintenance of accounting records, provision of reports and management information and preparation of statutory returns.

Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to study for an AAT accounting qualification as part of their role.  

About you:


You must be able to:

•    Communicate clearly and confidently, and deal with customer queries in a professional manner. 
•    Competently use Microsoft Office Software.
•    Manage your time effectively to ensure that tasks are completed within set deadlines, being flexible as required.
•    Gather information to understand and respond to what internal / external stakeholders need and expect. 
•    Work effectively individually and in teams. 
•    Develop good and appropriate relationships with all partners.


You must hold an NVQ level 2, or equivalent, qualification in a relevant area.

You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.

In addition, we also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
