Trading Assistant

This job listing is a contract between 12 and 16 hours on a fixed term assignment ending on the 3rd Jan 2026. With potential of it becoming a permanent role, but not guaranteed.

Sunday: The shift start time will vary between 10am and 2pm. The finish time of this shift can vary between 4pm and 8pm.

Monday to Saturday: The shift start time will be as early as 2pm but start time can vary between 2pm and 6pm. The shift finish time will be 10pm.

Days and hours will be communicated to you during the interview process. Where we will discuss either 2, 3 or 4 day contracts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping our shelves tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help  
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations 
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required

Eligibility:

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age
