Senior AWS Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding their strategic technical decisions and presenting best practices.
• Lead discovery engagements, assessing clients' infrastructure, workloads, and software environments.
• Develop target state architectures and actionable roadmaps tailored to client needs.
• Guide and mentor delivery teams in executing digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with client goals and priorities.
• Engage directly with senior executives to communicate technical vision and build consensus.
• Stay immersed in a culture of continuous learning, adopting and applying emerging technologies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Consulting Experience: Proven track record in client-facing consulting roles. Demonstrated ability to engage directly with senior stakeholders and executives to define strategies and solutions.
• Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in technology roles, including significant responsibility for setting technical direction. In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions. Broad technical experience with cloud infrastructure, application/API design, networking, security architecture, messaging/streaming technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and some programming experience.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to work independently, translating high-level goals into measurable milestones and delivering results. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in executive-level discussions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Communication: Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation, proposals, and presentations.
• Customer-Centricity: Proven ability to build trust, prioritize client needs, and maintain strong relationships. 
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate challenges and identify effective solutions, even under tight deadlines.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, bridging gaps between technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.
• Proven experience in planning and executing cloud migration projects, including application modernization and workload prioritization.
