The ideal candidate is an experienced CS Delivery Architect who can help us jumpstart and scale the professional services team in a variety of ways. This is a great opportunity for someone who is extremely focused, excited, and technically adept to make a huge impact. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the Lacework platform and the stack it is built on. You will have a customer focused go getter attitude and work across various teams within the customer and inside the lacework ecosystem to prioritize and support positioning of professional services and delivery on projects leading to customer success and drive ARR growth for Lacework. 

To be successful you will:

  • Become an expert user of Lacework.
  • Willing and able to start from scratch and support the growth of the Delivery team with Lacework.
  • Develop and contribute to operational runbooks, wikis, how-tos, topology diagrams - as needed.
  • Design and coordinate cohesive responses to customers driving adoption for Lacework and driving business outcomes for the customer.
  • Develop Statements of Work and, develop SKU based services to drive faster attach for professional services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on architecture, authentication, and system security as part of services delivery
  • Lead positioning of services with sales, and implementations for Lacework in the most effective, efficient, and creative ways to ensure successful user adoption and overall success with our products through an understanding of the customers' existing business models and processes
  • Support Services Delivery Teams, Solution Engineers, and Account Executives with your technical input for developing Statements of Work during the pre-sales process to define the project objectives, scope, deliverables, dependencies, and risk all while keeping customer outcomes in mind.
  • Consult customers on best practices regarding Lacework adoption and consumption.
  • Create detailed specifications outlining the requirements for both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Consult with customers on analysis and findings to ensure clarity on solutions
  • Document all work with customers including solution design and configuration
  • Managing internal resources and clients to ensure on-time on-budget delivery of projects.
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Partner with product management and customer success teams to ensure positive customer health and drive outcomes which will lead to higher consumption, adoption and more ARR

Your Professional Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional services role, preferably at a startup.
  • Deep AWS knowledge and hands on experience. Bonus for cloud experience and certification with any of the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Good knowledge and experience with network protocols, cryptography, security threats, attack techniques, evasive techniques, detection, and prevention methods.
  • Experience in Docker/Kubernetes is highly preferred
  • Understanding of real-time threat detection, secrets management, security considerations within build, release, CI/CD and other similar tooling.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to script in common languages like Python, shell, Perl is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the fundamentals of systems hardening.
  • Experienced in developing metrics and dashboards to track various vulnerability trends and SLAs and communicating them to business stakeholders is a big plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills is desirable.
  • Strong customer presentation skills
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Slack, Confluence, Jira is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
