Construction Manager

We are currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our team in Holland at AVK-SEG UK Ltd. As a leading provider of power generation and energy solutions, our company is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and exceeding customer expectations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee data centre project supply and installation of diesel generators on site ensuring that they are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality control and adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and guidelines.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues or risks and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the construction process.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control, tracking, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation are obtained and maintained.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in the power generation or energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
