ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We are currently recruiting for an internship located at our office in San Diego. We have an exciting opportunity for a summer intern to join a dynamic team working at the establishment of partnerships with universities, research institutes and US government for disruptive business development of the ASML San Diego high-power extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and deep ultra violet (DUV) light sources.
Role and responsibilities
Maintain and improve Partnerships’ SharePoint and associated databases
Assess and improve current reporting tools on partnerships’ progress
Assess and improve current partnerships’ scouting system (possibly by implementation of AI search tools too)
Craft and run tailored, mini-campaigns and/or internal company events to increase partnerships’ visibility and awareness
Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Education and experience
Pursuing a Master’s degree in business management and/or business administration (preferred); applicants pursuing a Master’s degree in marketing and/or communication will also be considered for the role
Familiarity with the basics of project management
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and SharePoint
Working knowledge of AI search tools (plus)
Skills
Has an affinity with technology and tech-oriented environments, understands the engineering process
Tunes communications to resonate with an audience known for its no-nonsense, plain speaking and ‘getting things done’ approach
Plans own work and assigned projects. Understands tools and technologies that drive data analysis and measurement and applies them. Starts prioritizing while executing plan. Recognizes power and relevance of measurement. Proposes metrics to improve. Builds measurement into plans and applies best practice measurement tools
Writing & Presentation skills - including internal news. Comfortable with writing style that effectively informs. Secure grasp of English spelling, grammar, writing mechanics, and punctuation. Exhibits skills in writing, analyzes source material. Clear language and aware of what makes messaging resonate and shareable.
Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and document
Strives for quality, efficiency, and professionalism, all while completing assignments on time
Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision

Other information
This position is located on-site in San Diego ASML offices. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, training courses and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
