The Job:  

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll be part of our construction technology team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:  

  • Own the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for Autodesk Revit plugins, desktop apps, and modern web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, development, UX) to define quality objectives and deliverables
  • Drive end to end test cycles throughout the SDLC across multiple product platforms.
  • Work with modern day E2E reactive web platforms, microservices in cloud and on premises environments for quality & customer experience.
  • Automate tests for Desktop apps, SPA & MPA built with the latest reactive technologies and microservices.
  • Analyze complex requirements, architecture, and design documents to determine optimal testing approaches.
  • Collaborate with team to provide estimations and deliverable timelines
  • Keep the success of our customers as the guiding principle of your work
  • Ensure success through unblocking challenges & owning the deliverables E2E
  • Reflect critically on designs and frameworks to improve speed/quality of deliverables
  • Break & validate designs & deliverables

The Person:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent is required
  • 5+ years of Quality/Testing Automation experience, with significant exposure to desktop and modern web application testing.
  • Implementing E2E automated test pipelines using industry-standard tools for SaaS platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in test automation and scripting for API’s, Desktop application/plugins, Modern UI frameworks, & Mobile apps
  • Experience in automating desktop applications using the Ranorex tool is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in automated validation of SQL, No-SQL, and other distributed storages
  • Deep understanding of latest web technologies, Testing processes, Tools, Cloud Deployments, Containerization, Authentication Systems, & Protocols
  • Experience in certifying tradeoffs b/w cost, scale, speed & agility
  • Strong coding skills
