Physician Compensation Specialist

Overview

The Physician Compensation Specialist is responsible for supporting CHMG physician related activities such as month end close, budgeting, productivity reporting, compensation and payroll processing, managerial finance needs, and benefit enrollment support.

Responsibilities

Completes reconciliations for physician-related activities and supports non-physician financial tasks as needed. Performs routine/monthly tasks for accurate financial decision making, including financial analysis and variance analysis. Conducts special projects related to physician compensation analysis and collaborates with physicians, Directors, and Senior Leaders to resolve issues. Administers select physician CME activities and license renewals. Assists in the annual budget process by preparing summaries and schedules. Manages select CHMG physician compensation activities, including plan updates, bonus payout processing, productivity reporting, and benefit enrollment oversight. Provides expertise in financial computer systems and assists others in understanding physician transaction processing and reporting. Supports monthly financial close process by preparing schedules and documentation. Analyzes actual to budget variances to ensure accurate financial statements.Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum of 15 credit hours in accounting or closely related course work at an accredited institutionPreferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field EXPERIENCE:Required: Minimum 4 years? experience in directly related role.
