Named one of the top digestive disease centers in the nation, our Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute (DDSI) is the first of its kind to unite all specialists in gastroenterology and hepatology, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, hepato-pancreato-biliary and transplant surgery and nutrition within one unique, fully integrated model of care. As Program Manager II on our team, you will play a critical role in advancing the institute’s clinical research portfolio by overseeing and executing numerous projects through all phases of delivery. You will implement improvement initiatives, identify and resolve issues and provide administrative leadership. Responsibilities include appointing and onboarding clinical research fellows, supporting regulatory submissions and documentation and preparing internal and external compliance reports.

This position is essential to maintaining the integrity, efficiency and audit-readiness of DDI’s research programs and serves as an excellent entry point into Management at Cleveland Clinic, offering opportunities for both professional and personal development.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of designated programs.  

  • Plan, develop and maintain systems and procedures.  

  • Serve as a liaison between department and outside communities.  

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.  

  • Participate in budgetary processes. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and three years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training

  • OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience

  • OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience 

  • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Data analysis experience in a healthcare setting

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
