Job Summary

Responsible for seating residents in the dining room. Handles customer service situations as they arise.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Adhere to location appearance guidelines.

•    Act with a sense of urgency and professionalism.

•    Ensure that the dining room is properly cleaned and set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat during service while meeting established sanitation standards.

•    Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements.

•    Help create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates.

•    Exhibit exceptional communications skills. Gets along well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience; possess an interest in people.

•    Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.

•    Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and help evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or other emergency.

•    Assist with service, including bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.

•    Perform post event product inventory and restock as needed.

•    Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, beverage machines, food merchandisers, production and storage equipment.

•    Work in other departments to perform job duties during special events.

•    Performs other duties as assigned.
