Job Description
As the Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Insights, you will manage enterprise-level marketing analytics and insights that shape brand strategy, media effectiveness, and investment across all of FBIN’s business units. You’ll bring together consumer and professional data, syndicated sources, and marketing analytics to support strategic planning and deliver insight that influences brand, paid media, and corporate strategy.
In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with business unit leaders, Strategy, Brand Marketing, Product Management, the Data & Analytics team, and the Brand Operations Center of Excellence. You will guide the work of two analysts and play a key role in transforming complex data into accessible, insight-driven stories that influence strategy development and contribute to FBIN’s growth.

POSITION LOCATION:This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective fall 2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and evolve FBIN’s enterprise analytics and syndicated data strategy across the Water, Outdoors, and Security business units
- Oversee consumer and professional tracking studies, ensuring insights remain consistent, reliable, and actionable over time
- Collaborate with the Brand Operations COE to evaluate media performance, including ROAS, lift studies, and marketing mix modeling (MMA)
- Deliver insights and reporting that guide enterprise-level brand, media, and strategic business decisions
- Transform large, complex data sets into clear, engaging stories using platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker
- Interpret syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, POS Data & Panel Data) and apply findings to strategic and planning processes
- Partner across Brand, Product, Strategy, and Data & Analytics teams to connect insights with real business outcomes
- Mentor and support the development of two analysts, building skills in data analysis, communication, and collaboration
- Foster a culture of data-informed decision-making by helping teams across the organization understand and act on insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, syndicated data, or consumer insights
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and connect insights from multiple sources—syndicated data, tracking studies, marketing analytics, and media measurement
- Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience contributing to media effectiveness measurement (e.g., ROAS, Lift, Marketing Mix Modeling)
- Demonstrated storytelling and communication skills—able to explain complex findings clearly and effectively to varied audiences
- Experience supporting, managing, or mentoring team members within analytics or insights role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree (MBA or MA/MS in Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
- Experience with analytics in consumer products or omnichannel brand environments.
