JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

As an Intern within Entergy’s Operational Governance team, you will provide IT services to internal customers as well as deliver ongoing support for ServiceNow-based solutions. This role provides the opportunity to engage in the full application lifecycle as part of a scrum team. You will design, develop, and support solutions on the Now platform that supports Entergy’s core IT processes.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop application features with configuration and custom code development using ServiceNow’s low-code/no-code tools.
• Participate in peer reviews for application changes.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies such as refinement, demo, and release planning.
• Create workflows and build service requests based on customers’ specifications.
• Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionalities to automate tasks.
• Generate reports and perform routine system maintenance as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

• Analytic and problem-solving skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with software development and design methodologies
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

 

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• JavaScript experience
• UX/UI Experience
• Understanding of design thinking techniques including Persona's, Journey Maps, and wireframes
