Role Focus:
- Serve as both a Workforce Specialist and a peer leader for a team member.
- Enhance team effectiveness, cohesion, and development.
Additional Duties:
- Model service practices and provide on-the-spot assistance and training to other members.
- Lead weekly team meetings and member development/reflection activities.
- Organize and facilitate team service projects.
- Serve as a communication bridge between members, program staff, and site supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Not Allowed:
- Cannot sign member timesheets, evaluate or discipline members, or manage program payroll/budget.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Has not enrolled more than four times in an AmeriCorps State or National Direct Program, or more than five one-year terms for VISTA programs or two terms for NCCC programs.
- Strong desire to serve

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft experience
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish and/or Creole), a plus
