Lopes Training Table - Food Prep Worker (FWS/NFWS)

Purpose within the Organization:

The purpose of this position is to act as a Food Prep Worker for the Lopes Training Table at the Student Union on campus. This position will prepare food for customers such as making sure that all product is prepared to Lopes Training Table standards.

Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

• Provide attentive and responsive customer service.
• Required to be learn knife handling skills and prepare food accordingly to the standards of the restaurant.
• Required to prepare for service before the meal such as cleaning and stocking the area.
• Required to clean and sanitize workstations, counters, stove tops, walk-ins and other equipment.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Knives
• Ovens
• Stoves
• Cut Gloves

Qualifications:

• Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
• Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes.
• Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must comply with all dress code requirements.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 4 hours per Shift
• Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program or master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
