About the role

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in the St, Louis, MO and surrounding areas.

Our Hospice Nursing positions include meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our clients and their families. Our patients are facing end-of-life healthcare needs, and we are seeing an LPN who can provide the needed nursing care with dignity, compassion & a warm heart.

Shift Availability: Full Time, Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm. This position carries On Call responsibilities every 3 -6 weeks as back-up.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities

  • Meeting the healthcare needs of hospice patients by completing as needed and routine visits
  • Working closely with the Hospice team, physicians and community partners in order to deliver optimal care.
  • Triaging any emergent needs and collaborating with physicians to provide comfort and quality care to each patient.
  • Communicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and others
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
  • Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice.
  • Participating in in-service programs
  • Demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills

Requirements

  • Kansas or compact nursing license
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Monitor and record patient's condition and document provided care services via electronic charting.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Positive, Professional attitude
