About the Role
6sense is looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead the development and evolution of our positioning, messaging, and storytelling across both our Marketing and Sales product lines.
This is a highly creative, narrative-driven role designed for someone who’s passionate about the craft of storytelling, obsessed with clear messaging, and thrives on shaping how products are understood, talked about, and brought to market. You’ll be the strategic owner of our core narratives, turning product insights, customer pain points, and market shifts into messaging that moves. Whether it’s a new product launch, a flagship campaign, or a sales play, you’ll craft the positioning and story that ties it all together—and gets every team aligned around it. You’ll work cross-functionally to make sure those narratives show up consistently across content, events, campaigns, and conversations—building clarity, differentiation, and momentum in the market.
If you’re a product marketer who thinks like a writer—driven by big ideas, bold positioning, and storylines that rally teams—this is your role.
What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve 6sense’s core positioning and messaging, serving as the steward of our brand narrative across both Marketing and Sales solutions
- Build and maintain our messaging architecture—including positioning frameworks, messaging guides, and the overarching brand messaging house
- Translate product insights, roadmap updates, and market trends into compelling stories that drive alignment and activation across marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams
- Develop campaign themes, storylines, and creative hooks to inspire demand generation, brand, content, and event strategies
- Create high-impact narratives for product launches, sales plays, and flagship campaigns that help differentiate 6sense and move prospects through the funnel
- Write and refine copy for product pages, one-pagers, keynote presentations, scripts, ads, and more
- Partner cross-functionally with Demand Gen, Brand, Sales Enablement, ABX, and Product Marketing to ensure messaging is consistent and impactful at every touchpoint
- Stay plugged into trends across B2B SaaS, product marketing, and GTM innovation—bringing fresh ideas, smart angles, and new ways to connect with our audience
- Test and iterate messaging based on feedback from sales, customers, campaigns, and the market
What We’re Looking For
- 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, Martech, or AI-powered marketing solutions.
- Excellent storytelling skills—can craft narratives that resonate with marketers.
- Experience building and maintaining messaging guides and positioning frameworks
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and translate technical capabilities into compelling messaging.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills—especially with product, sales, demand gen, and brand
- Proven ability to create high-quality, visually compelling deliverables (e.g., slide decks, messaging docs, collateral)
