Senior Design Engineer (Navy Experience)- Secret Cleared

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of naval vessels, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ship design, including hull form development, structural design, and systems integration. This position is a 6 month contract to hire and can be available as remote or mostly remote, Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of naval vessels, including concept development, detailed design, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct engineering analyses and simulations to validate design concepts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in design reviews and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Support the production and testing of naval vessels.
