About the Job:

Reporting to the Head of Product Growth, you will strategize and execute on how we go to market with a product monetization and business model that is aligned with customer value. 

As Senior Manager of Retention, you'll own the product strategy for improving customer retention across all segments—from fast-growing SMBs to Fortune 500. You'll work cross-functionally to identify points of friction, build proactive sales plays, and ensure customers are satisfied and continue to grow with Rubrik. This high-impact role is responsible for driving customer loyalty and reducing churn by partnering with teams like Product, Renewals, Support, Data and Sales to identify churn signals and scale re-engagement tactics. At every turn, our team will strive to uncover value and opportunities for the Business. Rubrik’s Product Growth team sits within product management and reports into Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer of Rubrik.

Responsibilities include: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product management, and analytics, to reduce churn and drive customer retention.
• Create and implement customer experiences that proactively address pain points and reinforce the value our product provides.
• Gather the voice of the customer and share with cross-functional teams to help drive necessary improvements from lessons learned. 
• Empower our Customer Success team by creating playbooks and resources that enable them to have impactful conversations and deliver a compelling value proposition.
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify behaviors correlated with churn risks and execute strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Monitor KPIs for retention and churn, continually optimizing efforts to align with growth objectives.
• Collaborate with product teams to influence the product roadmap, advocating for features and improvements based on customer feedback and unmet needs.
• Drive continuous improvement by testing, learning, and iterating quickly to deliver value at a high velocity.

About You (Your Impact)

You know how to drive monetization and business model strategy from a deep understanding of customers, markets and technologies. You are analytical and curious. You are skilled at financial modeling. You excel at distilling complexity into clear-cut, concise strategy, and are comfortable communicating this in written and visual form. You’re scrappy, get stuff done, and have a strong sense of ownership. 

Qualifications include:

• BA/BS degree, top MBA preferred but not required.
• 6+ years of experience in pricing, management consulting, investment banking, product management or business operations. 
• Strong analytical skills, including translating financial models into executive-facing content. 
• Strong passion for technical products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US Pay Range$175,500—$219,400 USD
