Job Description:

The Department of Administrative Services is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to fill a short-term Maintenance Technician – Groundskeeper position. This role works under direct to limited supervision and involves general groundskeeping duties and other tasks as assigned.

This assignment is set to end on 9/30/2025

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and blowing.

• Operate equipment such as UTVs, tractors, skid steers, and various hand tools.

• Conduct outdoor maintenance work (weather permitting).

• Participate in on-the-job training for equipment use and safety.

• Perform minor equipment maintenance, cleanup, and occasional custodial duties.

• Complete all other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Requirements/ Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: No specific education, training, or prior experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in groundskeeping or related work. Valid drivers license preferred but not required.

Other: Regular and Reliable attendance is required
