This team is essential to keeping our fleet—regardless of size—running smoothly and safely. ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Fleet Safety Training Administrator to provide administrative and clerical support for CEI’s Fleet Safety Program. This role plays a key part in ensuring training compliance with internal safety standards and policies. Administrative Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fleet Safety Manager, with a focus on developing and conducting training to meet all aspects of fleet safety compliance.
- Assist Production, Project Management, and Safety with Driver Training complying with FMCSA, DOT, and CEI policies.
- Responsibilities include developing training, delivering training, and tracking of training completion schedules.
- Analyze, and interpret compliance data. Prepare training material that will address compliance gaps and trends related to all areas of Fleet Safety.
- Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and employees to address compliance issues and coordinate training.
- Provide training for all levels of leadership and front-line employees.
- Maintain organized compliance documentation. Support the preparation and delivery of training sessions to ensure all personnel are aligned with current safety and regulatory standards.
- Review post-accident findings to identify root causes and develop and deliver targeted training to prevent recurrence and improve overall safety performance.
- Leverages company resources while expanding subject knowledge to effectively manage day-to-day challenges.
- Manages and prioritizes tasks by evaluating variables, considering both the scope of work and ways to minimize impacts to production.
- Builds professional working relationships across internal and external partners embracing CEI culture and core values.
- Use of company policies and procedures identifying proper actions.
- Receives guidance for new or complex assignments.
- Works independently and escalate issues as needed.
- Highly organized with strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; experience with JDE and Fleet Telematics systems is a plus.
- Able to deliver accurate, high-quality work efficiently.
- Strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills—both written and verbal
- Capable of handling confidential and proprietary information with professionalism and discretion
- Comfortable performing routine clerical tasks and basic mathematical calculations
- Skilled at following both oral and written instructions and working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the electrical construction industry is highly desirable.
