Material Supervisor Primary Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain optimal levels of auto salvage inventory levels
• Creates production orders to maintain auto salvage inventory levels
• Assigns and schedules work; establishes priorities
• Maintains optimal inventory levels; oversees and executes effective cycle counts
• Oversees shipping off all plant finished materials
• Ensures that deadlines are met; informs manager/president of delays in materials shipment and/or inventory functions

Material Supervisor Minimum Qualifications:

• Regular attendance essential
• Able to pass drug screen and background check
• Expertise with Microsoft Office
• Forklift certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul)
• Managerial experience preferred
• Fluency in OSHA regulations

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
