Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide information and access to benefits and services to those who contact the Governor’s office by phone. It is a responsible, professional position and requires extensive knowledge regarding the operations of state agencies and the major goals and policies adopted by the Governor.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position: Must be able to operate a computer with multiple open screens and talk on phone simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Answer calls received daily with emphasis on providing quality customer service, information, access to benefits, and assistance to constituents experiencing problems with an agency of state government, and other concerns or requests.

Collaborate with other phone analysts and correspondence analysts to provide simplified access to services and expedite the delivery of information and benefits

Participate in team meetings and provide verbal and written reports

Keep abreast of current events as they relate to government services, laws, executive orders, press releases/conferences, and other actions of the Governor or state agencies

Perform other duties as assigned
