This is a full-time position onsite in Gaithersburg, MD.
Job Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day oversight of the Lab Support team, including coordination and responsibility for the delivery of support services.
Assist in maintaining Glass-wash and Autoclave equipment, working closely with on-site facilities teams
Ability to troubleshoot problems within the system and recommend improvements.
Organize, analyze and present metrics and KPI data to the General Laboratory Services Manager with reportable performance data.
Coordinates and manages project tasks to ensure delivery within allotted timelines.
Completes routine team meetings/huddles/and safety tasks with Lab Support Technicians.
Follow proper safety precautions related to identifying job hazards.
Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.

Critical Skills:
Strong communication and training skills
Excellent organizational skills; ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Basic experience with MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Business or Science with 3+ years of inventory management experience related to above responsibilities OR
High School Degree/GED with 5+ years of inventory management experience related to above responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of how R&D laboratories function and has a proven track record of supporting those activities at various complexity levels
Leadership experience or experience in customer-facing roles
Experience with operating labo
