As a Business Analyst you can expect the following in your role:

What you’ll do:

Lignetics is looking for an IT professional to manage a suite of reports, multiple data extractions/manipulations, and various reporting-focused databases. This position will report to the Director of IT to:

· Maintain Tableau Cloud and Microsoft Power BI reporting for various arms of the business

· Ensure the smooth flow of data from multiple data sources to Tableau Cloud and Microsoft Power BI

· Develop new reports and report suites as new business requirements arise

· Coordinate with internal parties to understand business needs and translate into impactful reporting

· Maintain complex Microsoft SQL Server queries and reference tables

· Extract and transform raw data from multiple data sources

· Regularly audit reporting to validate and reconcile data

What you’ll need:

· Strong skillset around developing and maintaining Tableau reports

· Familiarity with transforming data utilizing Tableau Prep

· Extensive Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) knowledge

· Experience with Microsoft Power BI report building and management

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VBA Development

· Ability to translate business needs into impactful reporting

· Passion for learning new skills and systems

· Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects of varying stages and scales

· Ability to resolve complex issues through research, analysis, and knowledge from prior experience

· Attention to detail and solid organizational skills
