The director's responsibilities include the following:
- Overseeing the operations of the School
- Developing strong relationships with our families
- Complying with all State childcare licensing regulations, along with the Health Department and Goddard regulations. This includes but is not limited to maintaining current and up-to-date staff and child files, maintaining children's emergency medication data, ensuring the building is in top operating condition at all times, conducting water tests as required by the Health Department, and more.
- Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Keeping a positive relationship with all employees and co-directors
- Model positive behavior and leadership skills
- Demonstrate the ability to obtain positive results from problem-solving conflicts with families and employees
- Conduct tours of the center for potential new families; enroll new families when there is open enrollment
- Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Level III administrator for NC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude.
