And growth, in every sense, inspires everything we do.</p> <p>If you’re ready to challenge what’s expected and shape the future of cannabis, your next chapter starts with Story.</p> <p><strong>Overview:</strong></p> <p>The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for developing a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth. This person will lead and support the staff with customer service, sales training, product knowledge, leadership development, inventory controls, and compliance.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working with the General Manager to plan and implement sales strategies to drive positive sales growth within the dispensary.</li> <li>Maintaining strong inventory controls and making sure that the store is upholding compliance standards.</li> <li>Coaching, training, and developing staff, making sure they are aligned with the company's goals and vision.</li> <li>Partnering with the General Manager to help create, monitor, and track the store's KPIs, and leveraging data to help drive decisions around labor costs, sales strategies, and training opportunities.</li> <li>Helping to hire, train and onboard new staff within the dispensary.</li> <li>Assisting with the store's day-to-day operations and partnering with other internal teams, such as marketing, retail operations, and supply chain.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>2+ years of management experience in a high-volume retail environment with previous cannabis experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience with point of sales systems and backend compliance tools, such as Dutchie and Metrc.</li> <li>Strong leadership qualities and the ability to recruit and train staff.</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li> <li>Analytical with the ability to set and track store KPIs.</l
